Milestone sessions are child led, lighthearted & guided with plenty of room for your little one to simply be themselves. There is no pressure for perfect smiles or sitting still. Sessions move at your child's pace, allowing space for curiosity, play & genuine expression.
Parents are always welcome to join for a few moments, especially for younger children.

A clean, portrait-focused milestone session designed to capture your little one's personality, expressions & all the details of this season without elaborate props or themed setups.

The Sitter Stage
Around 6–9 months is one of my favorite milestones to photograph. Once your baby is confidently sitting independently, but before they're constantly on the move, it's the perfect time to capture all those little expressions, baby rolls & emerging personality.
birthday milestone session
A playful, thoughtfully styled session designed to celebrate your little one's birthday while keeping them at the center of it all. Choose a color palette or overall feel, and I'll create simple celebratory styling to complement your vision.
Includes:
- Up to 45 minutes
- Studio or outdoor option
- Up to 2 outfits
- Simple celebratory styling
- Full gallery included
- Optional Milk Bath Add-On
- Custom styling available*
Cake is completely optional. Families who would like to include one are welcome to bring their own, and I'm happy to share recommendations for local bakeries if helpful.

What does simple celebratory styling include?
Your Birthday Milestone Session includes simple celebratory styling designed around your little one's birthday, your preferred color palette & the overall feel you're drawn to.
Depending on your vision, your setup may include a mini balloon garland, balloon clusters, a number balloon bouquet or a simple number balloon. I also have a small collection of cake stands, number signs, children's toys & simple props that may be incorporated when they complement your setup.
Not every setup includes every element. We'll collaborate on the overall vision, and I'll thoughtfully style your session in a way that brings your ideas to life while staying true to my photography & my artistic style.
Looking for something more customized? Specialty themes, custom cutouts, specialty or licensed balloons, custom signage, additional props or items sourced specifically for your session are available as a Custom Styling Add-On starting at $150.
make it your own
Every milestone looks a little different. Keep things simple or add a few special touches to make your session feel even more like your little one.
Add a Milk Bath | $75
End your session with a little splash! A milk bath is a sweet addition for sitter milestones, first birthdays & little ones who love the water.
Milk baths are photographed at the end of your session and include a simple tub setup with minimal styling to complement your session.
Available as an add-on to Simple Milestone & Birthday Milestone Sessions. Includes a minimum of 5 additional edited images.
Bring the Cake | No Additional Fee
Cake is completely optional. Some families love the classic cake smash moment, while others choose to skip it altogether.
If you'd like to include a cake, families provide their own so you can choose a bakery that works best for your child's preferences & dietary needs. I'm happy to provide recommendations for local bakeries and guidance on cake size, colors & styling.
Cake portions are typically photographed toward the end of Birthday Milestone Sessions.
Custom Styling | Starting at $150
Have a more specific vision in mind? Custom Styling is available when your ideas go beyond the simple celebratory styling already included with a Birthday Milestone Session.
This may include custom cutouts, specialty or licensed balloons, custom signage, specialty backdrops, additional props, florals or other items that need to be sourced specifically for your session.
Custom Styling begins at $150, with the final price based on the complexity of your vision, additional planning & sourcing required, and the cost of specialty items.
Share your inspiration when you inquire and I'll let you know whether your vision is included with your session or would require Custom Styling.

Outfits
Pick something your little one feels good in! Comfort is always key, especially for our littlest clients. I recommend timeless pieces they can easily sit, crawl, walk & play in. Simple Milestone Sessions include one outfit, while Birthday Milestone Sessions can include up to two.
Inspiration
Have a Pinterest board or inspiration photo? Send it my way! Inspiration helps me understand the colors, details & overall feel you're drawn to. I'll use those ideas as a starting point while creating something that stays true to my photography & styling style.
Props & Personal Items
You're welcome to bring a favorite toy, book or small sentimental item you'd love photographed. I also have a limited collection of children's props, posing pieces, cake stands & milestone signs available depending on the session.
